THE PRACTICAL ANSWER

Compare receiving, storage, order preparation, shipping, setup and exceptions as a complete workflow. A low pick fee alone cannot describe the cost of your account.

Build a quote from the work

ComponentUseful input
ReceivingDelivery frequency, pallets/cartons, unloading and SKU setup.
StorageFootprint, turnover, period and special product requirements.
PreparationOrders, units per order, materials, kits and retailer work.
ShippingService, route, dimensions, weight and surcharges.
ImplementationConnections, mappings, permissions and testing.
ExceptionsReturns, inspection, repacking, photos and special projects.

This is an illustrative fee structure, not a price list or a statement that every fee applies. Ask the provider to state the unit of charge and what triggers it.

Avoid an uneven comparison

Give providers the same representative profile. A quote that excludes packaging, account setup or returns should not be compared with an all-inclusive amount without adjusting the scope. Look at shipment charges separately from warehouse handling, then evaluate the total.

Plan for changes

  • Ask how new kits, labels or retailer rules are quoted.
  • Define how storage or order-volume changes affect the account.
  • Record who approves additional work and its charge.
  • Keep the applicable agreement and current rate card together.

Request a useful FlexHub review

Start with estimates for SKUs, storage, monthly orders and destinations. The team reviews fit and relevant charges before activation. Managed retail distribution is separately contracted for 3PL clients; product purchases and payments are not processed on this website.

PUT THE GUIDE TO WORK

Start with your actual operation.

Bring the product, order or system details behind your question so the team can review the relevant scope.
