Integration means the right records and responsibilities agree at each handoff. It does not mean every system can change every other system automatically.
Follow an illustrative order
A storefront releases an order for Sample SKU-A. The warehouse SKU and location must match, the order needs an agreed shipping method, and the packed shipment needs a tracking update in the intended channel. This is an illustrative workflow with sample identifiers, not a client result.
Record each handoff
| Handoff | Record to agree | Exception to test |
|---|---|---|
| Channel to warehouse | Order ID, SKU, quantity and release status. | Duplicate or changed order. |
| Stock to pick | Sellable quantity, location and unit conversion. | Short stock or a held unit. |
| Pack to dispatch | Instructions, dimensions, weight and label source. | Incorrect service or missing instruction. |
| Dispatch to channel | Carrier, tracking and shipment status. | Partial shipment or rejected update. |
Separate logistics from managed sales
Fulfillment supports orders the brand has received. FlexHub’s managed distribution handles buyer outreach and sales work for its 3PL clients under a separate agreement. An approved retailer order then brings its own preparation and routing requirements into the operation.
Scope the connection before activation
Name the provider, authorize the correct access and test the flows you actually require. The 25-option directory explains current partner/scoped routes separately from planned proprietary native connections. The new WMS and website inventory remain in development.
Start with your actual operation.
Bring the product, order or system details behind your question so the team can review the relevant scope.
